Mr. Petschar has been the principal of Woodland Elementary School since 1998. He graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 1986 and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 1995.

Mrs. Carlson has been the Assistant Principal at Woodland Elementary School since 2008. She received her degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She had over 20 years of teaching experience before entering into an administrative role. She received her masters degree in Administration from Viterbo University.
