THE ALPHA COURSE

Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment around a meal. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited.

We're planning to run two courses this Autumn - a daytime and evening one. They'll run on consecutive weeks from the 4th week of September onwards:

Evening Course (including dinner) - Tuesdays from 7pm - 29th Sep - 8th Dec
Daytime Course (including a light lunch) - Wednesday from 12pm - 30th Sep - 9th Dec

The weekday sessions will take place at our church building (Kidlington Baptist Church, High St, Kidlington, OX5 2DS).

Both cohorts will share in a joint away day exploring the topic of the Holy Spirit on Saturday 31st October – this will be at Windmill Farm Conference Centre (Clanfield, Bampton OX18 2SN).

There's no cost or fee for the course. It's completely free, and paid for by the church because we think it's so important. If you really want to make a donation we won't stop you, but there's no expectation of that.

Alpha takes place over 12 evenings and one away day and the sessions explore foundational questions about life, faith, and Christian belief, typically structured around a meal, a short film or talk, and small group discussion.
