Our system offers the ability to deactivate permalocked RFID/EAS tags through the cloud, providing a seamless integration between purchase processing and loss prevention. This ensures secure, real-time handling of both purchased and unpaid items in the store.
To enable this feature, the following systems are needed:
Keonn Payment Systems: Handles the transaction and communicates the purchase information to the cloud.
Keonn Loss Prevention Systems: Maintains a whitelist of unpaid store stock and controls tag deactivation.
Purchase Event
When a customer buys an item, the Keonn Payment System sends the tag information to the cloud, marking it as paid.
Cloud Processing
The cloud stores the purchase information and updates the status of the tag.
Loss Prevention Check
The Keonn Loss Prevention System retrieves a whitelist of unpaid tags (i.e., store inventory that has not been purchased).
The system then identifies which tags should remain active (still on stock) and which can be deactivated (purchased).
Tag Deactivation
The cloud sends a deactivation command to the permalocked RFID/EAS tag.
The tag is now safe to leave the store without triggering an alarm.
Seamless Integration: Works automatically with payment and loss prevention systems.
Security & Accuracy: Ensures only purchased items are deactivated.
Real-Time Operation: Tag status is updated immediately after purchase.

There is a report called itemleveleas that allows you to download the list of PURCHASED / RETURNED EPCs in a shop.
It can also be accessed via API.
