Nebraska Promise is a program that covers undergraduate tuition at the University of Nebraska's four campuses (UNK, UNL, UNO, and UNMC) and its two-year technical college (NCTA).
Tuition is covered for students who meet academic qualifications and have a family income of $60,000 or less (Adjusted Gross Income/AGI) or are Pell Grant-eligibile.

Kearney Bound Scholarship Program (for UNK) is a cooperative program between selected NE high schools (KCHS, Kearney High, Lexington, and North Platte) and UNK. The program is an opportunity for first generation high school students with financial need to earn a four year comprehensive scholarship to UNK.
The UNK Kearney Bound Coordinator, Abel Juan Virgilio, presents this scholarship opportunity to Freshman at the end of January/beginning of February.

Kearney Bound Applications will then be available in the Kearney Catholic School Counseling Offices. All applications are due back to the School Counselors by March 1.
NSCS Advantage for Nebraska State College System (Chadron, Wayne, or Peru State) is a tuition assistance program for incoming freshman who are pell grant eligible with the option for renewal if the student meets requirements. For more information check out, www.nscs.edu/nscs-advantage.htm.
