Welcome to the Karing website


KARING is a registered charity operating in the Preston district of Paignton, Devon. We are a voluntary group providing transport, social activities, support and information to people who are older, frail or sick who live in Paignton and surrounding areas or are visiting locally.

We are connected with Pembroke House Surgery but all of our services are open to anyone who makes contact with us.

Monday to Friday
9.00 am to 1.00 PM

It is open some afternoons for events and activities - please book in advance. See our Events page for details.

Christmas and New Year 2017 / 2018

We will be open some days over the festive period. We will also be running a limited transport service. Please visit our events page for further details.

Ageing Well Torbay Innovation Grant

KARING is very pleased to announce that we have been selected for a grant from AGEING WELL. Karing was established forty years ago to support the elderly residents of Preston, so we are delighted to forge closer links with Ageing Well and look forward to working together to provide new services for the residents of Torbay.
