In the penultimate week of each half term there will be an end of unit assessment. Each 55 minute assessment will test students’ understanding of what they have done that term. In each assessment there will be an element of extended writing which will be marked according to the quality of written communication.
Additionally there will be an extended investigation each half term that focusses on a set of skills that students will have been working on during that term. These will be monitored within the class and students given feedback on how they can improve.
