-There are 16 career clusters and they are: Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; Architecture and Construction; Arts, A/V Technology and Communications; Business, Management and Administration; Education and Training; Finance; Government and Public Administration; Health Science; Hospitality and Tourism; Human Services, Information Technology, Law and Public Safety and Security; Manufacturing; Marketing; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics; and Transportation.
How do I find careers that fit my personality and interests?
Holland's Six Personality Types are often used to fit personality and interest to a career. They are Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Remember interest and personality surveys only give you an understanding of your likes and dislikes and gives recommendations of career choices that you may like. Choosing a career is a big deal. Some careers take a lot of time and money. Be proactive try to set up job shadowing, research your career, intern or do summer work that is closely related to your career choice. The more you experience your career choices the more you know you will enjoy it.
