7th and 8th Grade Method Books
Method books ensure the sequential musical development of our students. 7th and 8th grade students are encouraged to purchase Standard of Excellence Books 1 and 2. Various other school-owned method books will be completed throughout the school year also.

7th and 8th Grades: If necessary, Douglas provides a book for students to use in class, but not to take home.
Students are encouraged to purchase their own copy.

A different reed should be used for each practice session.
Rotated reeds last longer and will cause fewer playing problems.
