Classroom Bee January 17-January 20

Classroom Spelling Bees will be online this year. They will contain both spelling words and the meanings of words. Each word will be read by an official Scripps Spelling Bee announcer. Classroom lists will be sent to your parents as an email attachment. The top two spellers from each grade level will advance to the preliminary round.

Preliminary Bee January 23

This prelimary bee will be held in the Library at 2:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Parents are welcome to attend. The top six spellers of this bee will continue on to the school spelling bee. To prepare for the Preliminary Bee, use the School Spelling Bee Study List and Words of the Champions that will be sent home with you. This same list will be used for the school spelling bee. NOTE: There may be words in the spelling bee that are not on this list. Spelling patterns on this list will be a part of spelling bee words.
