Course Description:

The three main units for American Government will be 1) Purposes and Foundations of Government, 2) Structure and Function of Government and 3) Citizenship and the Political Process. In addition, current events will be a big part of the class throughout the semester. There will be a comprehensive final exam at the end of the semester.

It is important as citizens of the United States that students know about their country’s government. This knowledge will not only help them understand their country better, but make them better citizens in today’s (and tomorrow’s) society.
