I’m Bryan Ardan, and I am SO excited to welcome you to kindergarten! The 2026–27 school year will be my 14th year at Kyffin Elementary, my 22nd year as a teacher, and my 6th year teaching kindergarten. That means I’ve spent a LOT of time around little learners—and I still think kindergarteners are the funniest people on the planet!
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me running on the trails, reading a good book, or drinking coffee (because teaching kindergarten requires a little caffeine!). I have a wonderful wife named Marcie and a goofy son named Brayden. They have absolutely no interest in teaching or running, but they DO love camping and exploring our National Parks with me. Marcie and Brayden both passed kindergarten in just ONE year. I, on the other hand, have needed multiple tries! I'm still working things out.
We also have a Schnoodle named Rya, who is very cute, very fluffy, and believes she is in charge of our family. We are clearly only paying rent.
I live in Littleton, but I love being part of the Kyffin community and working with the wonderful families who make this school such a special place.
I’m looking forward to spending this school year with your little learner! My biggest goal is to help your child fall in love with learning, feel proud of who they are, and build a strong foundation for all the amazing things ahead.
Kindergarten is a BIG adventure. We will learn letters, numbers, sounds, stories, and so much more. We will also learn how to make friends, solve problems, be kind, try new things, and probably find a few mystery items in our pockets along the way.
The growth you will see throughout the year is truly amazing. Your child will come to school as a kindergartener and leave as a more confident, independent learner who is ready to take on the world!
Our classroom is a place for work AND play, learning AND laughter, mistakes AND trying again. We will celebrate big accomplishments, cheer each other on, and build a classroom family where every child feels safe, loved, valued, and supported.
I also know that starting kindergarten can be a BIG step for parents, too. Please know that my door is always open. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, joining in the fun, or simply checking in.
Get ready for a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of kindergarten magic!
