Purchasing Procedure
The Jenkins County School System I.T. Department uses strategic planning and forecasting to guide what emerging technologies to invest in and what technologies need updating. When making purchasing decisions we prefer to stay with vendors that we have a proven track record with; however, some projects require us reaching out to new vendors for inquires into new technologies or price quotes.
Vendor Inquiries
If you are a technology vendor and are interested in being added to our vendor list then please do not call or email. Your time is valuable and so is ours. We receive an overwhelming amount of literature, sales brochures, email and cold calls. This makes it very difficult and time consuming to communicate with each vendor contact. For this reason we have created an online Vendor List. We will use this list when reaching out to prospective vendors. Once you fill out the list, there is no need to call or email us directly.
