A Little Bit About MeI grew up outside of Eagle Lake and am a 2007 graduate of East! I began teaching in 2011 after graduating from the College of Saint Benedict with a major in mathematics and minors in secondary education and music. Before starting at East in 2016, I taught at Rochester STEM Academy and Henry Sibley High School. Returning to the cougar family and the Mankato area has been wonderful! In my free time I continue to play flute with the MN River Valley Wind Ensemble and I love to travel. I have made it to 13 countries and 32 states so far, including a full circle of the globe in 2017! In April 2017 I had the incredible opportunity to participate in NASA's Microgravity University for Educators at Johnson Space Center. You can read about it and see pictures of the experience in the blog to the left. I look forward to meeting you in class this year!
