Citizens League's Students Speak Out initiative is launching a new,
national project where teens will democratically explore whether we
should broaden the definition of student achievement if we want to
realize our goals for K-12.

We're currently seeking applications for teen commentators, who will
be paid $150 stipends to dialogue in 8-10 weekly online discussions.
We're also seeking anyone who would like to participate (teens and
adults) to join the online project, including teachers and youth
leaders who want to get teens they work with involved (we've seen
people give students civic learning and writing credit for
participation in our SSO projects-of course, mostly from schools with
EdVisions design principles!). All of the information is on the Web
site. The conversation will get rolling (officially) in April.
