7-Week Oct. 18-20(MEA) and Oct. 26-29

Dear Families,

I appreciate connecting with all of you during conferences. There never is enough time to share all that we are doing and celebrate the amazing growth and progress your child has made since the start of school. I can’t believe we’re already at the end of October and Halloween is right around the corner. Congdon Park is allowing K-2 to do something fun with costumes and a small party in the afternoon on Friday. We will unfortunately not be able to have any volunteers inside. If it is nice, I might switch it to being outside. If you are available Friday afternoon (around 11:50-12:50), please send me an email or note it at the bottom of this sheet. I would request, if you are able, a donation of $5.00 to cover the cost of this and other parties we might have at Christmas and Valentines.

Please follow the guidelines for Friday.

  1. No costumes or face make-up are to be worn to school.

  2. They must be easy to put on in the afternoon.

  3. Put costume (no weapons allowed with it) in a marked bag if it doesn't fit in your child's backpack.

Thank you for your help. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at alaina.pilate@isd709.org. You could also reach me at 336-8825 ext. 1888.

Thank you for all your support, Alaina Pilate

I would be able to volunteer Friday afternoon outside if it is nice.___________________________
