Hello, I am so glad you are here on my page! This is my fifth year with the Fosston School District. My name is Sara and I am the Speech/Language Pathology Assistant for both the Magelssen Elementary School and Fosston High School with children in grades Preschool through 12th who have speech/language disorders.
I have worked as a pediatric Speech/Language Pathology Assistant for the last 6 years. I have my Bachelors's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Dakota. I am licensed through the State of MN Department of Education. I also have numerous years of experience working with children, including several years working with children with special needs.
The special education department works in tandem with the Area Special Education Cooperative (ASEC) to provide comprehensive education services. My goal at Fosston Public Schools is to make effective communication accessible and achievable for all of our students. If you suspect your child has a communication disorder, please contact your child's school or teacher.
