Everyone in the community—individuals, businesses, public and private agencies—shares responsibility for the mission of educating all members of the community. Community Education serves as a connection to other agencies and activities by creating partnerships and opportunities for citizen involvement. It is an idea based on the concept of lifelong learning. Community Education creates an environment that views education as anything that enhances life experience. Vision Statement Fosston Community Education programming supports positive development and global citizenship responding to the needs of all community members. Acts as a central resource for school connectedness, community engagement and enhanced learning in a safe, supportive environment. Facilitates active learning and life skills development from birth through adulthood. Provides opportunities for community members to gain the necessary skills to become successful students, employees, parents, guardians, and contributing members of the Fosston and surrounding communities.
