Government and Economies

In this unit we will be discussing four major types of governments that are found in our world. They are: Democracies, Dictatorships, Theocracies, and Monarchies. Students will be able to describe the characteristics of each type of government and what the governments relationship is to the people that it serves.

We will also be discussing the three major types of economies; Command, Market and Mixed-Market. Students will be able to identify the components of each and identify major countries that belong to each type of economy.
