Financial Aid

Financial Aid is money used to help pay for college/postsecondary training and it comes from a variety of sources (the federal and state government, local agencies, foundations, and private sources).  This can be an intimidating process for many families and the DRHS Counseling Department is here to provide support.

Financial Aid comes in many forms and is typically need based.  The forms include grants, need-based scholarships, student loans, tribal financial aid, military service education benefits and work-study.  All college-bound students should complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), no matter what your families income level may be.
