CIS/PSEO- Dual Enrollment

CIS and PSEO are all ways for students to earn college credit while still in high school!

CIS stands for College in the Schools. DRHS has many College in the Schools partnerships both in person, through telepresence, and online. Students can earn high school and college credit through Minnesota North- Itasca Campus on the Deer River High School campus.

PSEO stands for Post-Secondary Enrollment Option. PSEO allows students to take courses at a local university or college. Student complete the same courses and have the same requirements as other college students. Students are still required to meet high school graduation requirements. Go to the website of the college you are planning to attend and look for their PSEO page- it will have a list of next steps for you to take!
