The BHS Girls Varsity Badminton team is open to all female students in grades 7-12. This sport is during Spring and runs March through the middle of May. There are no try-outs. Practices run after school, approximately 2 hrs. Attendance at practices is required to participate in matches.

Badminton is separated out into two playing formats: Singles and Doubles - like tennis. Most new players will begin as singles players, and when skills level increases, they will be considered to be partnered for a doubles team.

Scoring is "rally" - to 21 pts. A player/team must win by 2 pts. Each player/team will play "best 2 out of 3" games to win or lose the match.

The 2023 Season will begin on March 4th, 2024!!
