Historical Scene Investigations - Hosted by the University of William & Mary School of Education, Tthis site provides a good model for primary source-based classroom activities, presenting historical cases for students to crack. Each case presents kids with clues to analyze in order to form a conclusion to each investigation. The clues come in the form of primary documents and images and include secondary sources.

The Jewish Virtual Library - "The Jewish Virtual Library website is a project designed and maintained by the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE), which was established as a nonprofit organization in 1993. From the homepage, visitors are presented with a series of topical areas such as "History", "The Holocaust", "Politics", and "Travel," along with eight other additional areas. The "Reference" area is quite helpful, as it contains a number of helpful fact sheets and a timeline for the history of Judaism."


South Asian American Digital Archives - "The South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) aims to "create a more inclusive society by giving voice to South Asian Americans through documenting, preserving, and sharing stories that represent their unique and diverse experiences." Readers may like to begin by reading the excellent short essay, "An Introduction to South Asian American History," which can be located under the Resources tab. From there, readers may browse the site by Theme, Subject, Collection, Source, Time Period, and other options.

Teaching with Documents - Find and create interactive learning activities with primary source documents that promote historical thinking skills.

World Digital Library - A database of more than 7,000 primary source documents and images from around the world. Sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, WDL can be searched by date, era, country, continent, topic, and type of resource.
