In Kindergarten, there are many parts of our curriculum. However knowing sight words are a big part of reading at this level. Every year it is amazing to see how the children grow as readers! About once a week we learn a new word from this list of "sight words". These are words that we will eventually be able to quickly recognize and try to write without looking at the word wall. ***PLEASE don't worry about your children jumping ahead at the list. However, your encouragement as your children bring home their word work is wonderful! This list is not in the order of how the words will be taught.
