Classroom Rules

We worked together as a class to come up with the rules of our classroom. This allows students to have ownership in the rules of the classroom and think about what they need as students in order for learning to take place. The following rules are what the class came up with together:

Classroom Discipline

If a student should break a rule the following will take place:

A verbal warning will be given and the student will be asked kindly to show how we show respect to our friends and teachers in the classroom.
If the classroom rule continues to be broken and they are not able to show me how it should be followed, then I will talk with them and have them practice (re-teach) that we would like to be displayed during a non-instructional time.
If the same behavior continues, I will write a note or call home to see if we can work together to correct it.
