About:
Throughout computer class students will encounter many different programs, resources and applications that fulfills the mandated requirements but more importantly, gives students the tools to be successful in today's digital world. This class will unravel possibilities in communication, innovation and information that will prove be beneficial in their educational journey as well as their personal lives. As technology continues to make rapid developments, it has become vital to prepare our youth for the digital future that lies ahead of them.

Purpose:
To provide Middle School students at Indian River with the requisite skills and knowledge to use the computer as an effective tool to communicate ideas and information, conduct research and expand their base of knowledge beyond the home and classroom.
