United States History is structured as a inquiry-based learning which gives students the opportunity to ask and answer meaningful questions. Students will engage with the content from a historical perspective through many differing perspectives. At the end of each unit, students will develop an evidence-based argument to answer the compelling question for the unit(see below). Each unit provides an opportunity for students to extend their learning & engage in civic action. Our goal is to examine complex issues from the past in order to make sense of what truly occurred, but also to make connections to modern day events and ideas.
