Book Checkout

• Students will visit the LMC on a weekly basis. First through fifth graders may check out two books each week. Kindergartners are allowed one item until January. At that time they may checkout two books.
• Books may be renewed if they are brought to the LMC.

Changes in Overdue Book Procedures

Indian Prairie School District is updating the overdue/lost book procedures across all libraries in the school district. If a library book is 90 days overdue, lost, or damaged the purchase price of the book will automatically be charged to the student’s PushCoin account. Please be aware that this is a computer-generated charge that will be automatically applied through PushCoin.

The McCarty LMC will continue to send home overdue notices. Please contact Katie Dahlquist @ 630-375-3455 or kathryn_dahlquist@ipsd.org if you believe your child has received an overdue notice in error. We will investigate and correct, if applicable, before the 90-day charge is applied.
