About Me

Hello! My name is Kim Harper. I am a School Social Worker in Indian Prairie School District 204 serving Cowlishaw Elementary School. I am a certified School Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at DePaul University in Chicago and further pursued my Master's of Social Work (MSW) degree from Aurora University. Additionally, I have completed post-graduate work to obtain my credential as a Certified Alcohol and other Drugs Counselor (CADC) and I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois. I have been practicing school social work for nine years and also have experience working in other clinical and community-based settings across the Chicago-land area.

Some of my interests outside of school include yoga, painting, reading, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our excitable rescue dogs, Zoey and Ed!
