Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar is teaching as an Assistant Professor (ad hoc) in the Department of History. He obtained his M.A. and M.Phil in History from the University of Delhi, and is presently pursuing his Ph.D in the discipline from there.

His area of specialization is the history of early India with special reference to Buddhist literature. He is well versed with Pali and has worked on the Vinaya Pitaka to explore its social components, especially with regard to the lives of bhikunis and bhikus.
