INTRO
Tullio Ricci is a researcher at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV, Italy) where he has been working since 2008. His research focuses on multidisciplinary and multidimensional imaging of volcanoes, including characterization of hydrothermal systems, volcanic structures, morphology variations, fluid circulation, degassing processes, gas hazard, explosive eruptive dynamics and risk perception for volcanic hazards, with implications for volcano monitoring, hazard assessment and human health.
