Hello!
Let me introduce myself. I am Val Maximovich, Volunteer and Mentor Coordinator for the Independence Community Schools. As an Independence Alumni, I take pride in our schools and have been an employee of the district for many years, and in this position since 2009. I recruit and train volunteers and mentors.
I completed the Volunteer Management classes at Kirkwood Community College in 2012.
I enjoy scrapbooking, walking and spending time with my family. I live in Independence with my husband and we have seven grandchildren.
