Logistics

Bologna international airport is connected to most European hubs with several flights per day; participants from East Asia may also take advantage of connections through the middle East with Emirates and Turkish. If you chose to fly to Milan or Rome, you may also consider the option of reaching Bologna by fast train (about one hour from Milano Centrale, two hours from Roma Termini; however, please note that in general the overhead required to reach the high speed train stations from the airport is not negligible).

The workshop will take place in the CNR Research Area in Bologna, room 216 (main hall, first floor). The CNR Research Area in Bologna can be reached by following the directions given here. The Institute of Radioastronomy is also hosted in the same Research Area. We point out that there is now a new bus line reaching the CNR Research Area, which is bus 37. Since this is a city bus, it runs more often and with less average delay than bus 87.
