Localization of Sustainable Development Goals

Please read our paper in the proceedings of the 30th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development Research held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 10 – 14 June 2024.  The theme of ceonference was "Linking Futures of Mountain and Ocean: Rescuing the SDGs 2030 for Sustainable Livelihood".

I got a chance to visit Haridwar on 20 and 21st July 2025 (Auspicious Sraavan Month). It wan an honor for my personal self to be part of the National Workshop on Community Engagement at Dev Sanskriti Vishwa Vidyalaya (DSSV) in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. 

G filters

My students Sandeep Gupta , Dr. Amrita K Nighojkar and Dr. Rajkumar Satankar developed this type of ceramic water filters in India. IITJ shared its technology for free with potter communities across India, as well as to several NGOs, enabling humanitarian solutions, livelihood sustenance, and generation of decentralized thought for the provision of drinking water.
