Bhopal, the beautiful city of lakes, is well connected by rail and road to major cities in India. It is also connected by air to important cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Raipur, etc.
By Rail:
Bhopal has two major rail stations: Bhopal Junction and Habibganj Rail Station. The Campus of IISERB is at Bhauri (Bhopal By-pass road), which is ~20-25 km from either of the train stations and you’ll have to invariably take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach to the Campus.
By Air:
The Raja Bhoj Airport of Bhopal is ~9 km from the Campus at Bhauri. Again, a taxi can get you to the IISERB Campus from the airport in ~15-20 min.
By Road:
Bhopal is well connected to Indore by road. The beautiful Bhopal-Indore expressway can get you from Indore to Bhopal in approximately 3.5 hours. Bhopal is also connected to Gwalior and many other major cities of India.
