ICS DISTINCTION

General rules for the following distinction titles are governed by the regulation of constitution and by-law of ICS

For photographic portfolio achievement distinction: ASSOCIATESHIP (A.ICS) - FELLOWSHIP (F.ICS) - MASTER (M.ICS) - MASTER LEVELS (M.ICS/B/S/G/) 

For exhibition proficiency distinction: BEST PHOTOGRAPHER (BP.ICS) - GRAND MASTER (GM.ICS) - SAFIIRI (ICS.SAFIIRI) - GRAND WORLD PHOTOGRAPHER (GWP.ICS) 

For exhibitor achievement distinction: HONORARY EXHIBITOR (HON.EICS)

For photographic service distinction: HONORARY FELLOWSHIP (HON.FICS) - HONORARY MASTER (HON MICS) - HONORARY PROMOTER INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY (HON.PIPICS)

Photographic work for ASSOCIATESHIP and FELLOWSHIP and MASTER and MASTER LEVELS application consisting of 3 divisions:

A. Monochrome Prints - B. Color Prints - C. Digital Image (Color or Mono, NOT a mixture of Color and Mono)

Election of ASSOCIATES and FELLOWS and MASTER four time per year - and MASTER LEVELS sequence levels any time.

CLOSING DATE: MARCH 1ST - JUNE 1ST -  OCTOBER 1ST -  DECEMBER 1ST - EACH YEAR 

PHOTOGRAPHIC ACHIEVEMENT DISTINCTION 

       

ASSOCIATES and FELLOWS and MASTER candidates shall submit their works and application forms and fees to the Honors Committee, and the final decision on all applications by the Board of Directors of the Society of ICS 

All AICS - FICS - MASTER honors are permanent unless revoked by the Society. Recipients of the AICS, FICS, MASTER  ETC honors may use these honors after their names for the indication of the honors.

AICS - ASSOCIATESHIP APPLICATION

Twelve (12) Monochrome prints, or 12 color prints, size 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 inches, mounting unnecessary, for the application of Associateship; or 

Twelve (12) Color slides, 35mm format, or medium format, or

Twelve (12) images file burned in CD Rom, or

Twelve (12) images  (Color or Mono, NOT a mixture of Color and Mono) digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length must: 2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg via email for application of Associateship. Images should be numbered 1 - 12 in the sequence they presented to jury.

FICS - FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION

Eighteen (18) Monochrome prints or 18 Color prints, size 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 inches, mounting unnecessary, for the application of Fellowship; or 

Eighteen (18) Color slides, 35mm format, or medium format, or

Eighteen (18) images file burned in CD Rom, or.

Eighteen (18) images (Color or Mono, NOT a mixture of Color and Mono) digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length must: 2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg via email for application of Fellowship. Images should be numbered 1 - 18 in the sequence they presented to jury. 

ICS - MASTER APPLICATION

As alternative applicant can submit a portfolio of 25 images numbered from 1 to 25 (black and white prints or colour prints) or digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length must: 2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg via email for application of Master. A portfolio-style of presentation is required. The collection must be coherent from its conception to its realization and presentation. 

Candidate can be applied sequence distinction MICS LEVELS at any time.

ONLY TWICE PER YEAR CAN BE APPLIED AND IN THE ABOVE SEQUENCE

Candidate of the GM.ICS and ICS.SAFIIRI must obtain the previous proficiency distinction before apply for next level . Recipients of the BP.ICS, GM.ICS, ICS/Safiiri, and GWP.ICS honors may use these honors with MICS 

(Master ICS) are acumulative distinctions. A successful applicant has to put both after his/hers names for the indication of the honors. 

GRAND WORLD PHOTOGRAPHER EXHIBITION DISTINCTION

(This is is totally independent distinction that can be applied only Twice Per Year when the below condition is satisfied)

GRAND WORLD PHOTOGRAPHER APPLICATION

    @ GWP.ICS - GRAND WORLD PHOTOGRAPHER candidate must submit a dossier/listing of (3000) three thousand acceptances including (300) three hundred awards w/minimum (100) one hundred with different ones, Or at least 50 honors/distinctions received from at least 25 countries. It can be applied by any World Photographer not necessary ICS member. It's not necessary to apply before any other distinction or other levels of proficiency distinctions

HON.FICS - HONORARY FELLOW APPLICATION

HON.MICS - HONORARY MASTER APPLICATION

In order to ensure the complete independence of the Honor Committee, the names of its members appointed by the Chairman Board of Directors are not published. All applications for distinction are examined and evaluated to acceptable service standard and award applicable service certificate to successful elected candidates by ICS Honors Committee consisting of members of the directory board, or of eminent personalities designated by the Board. Simple majority take without appeal, and decisions. All ICS distinctions are awarded for life. In case where the holder of a ICS distinction commits a serious offence against ICS, that distinction can be revoked or cancelled by the Directory Board. No appeal is the possible. In special cases of honors the ICS founder and/or president will make final decision.

Applicants make all bank check payable to the ICS or paypal acceptable. Application fee is not refundable whether the application is successful or not. 

HONORARY PROMOTER INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY APPLICATION

    @ HON.PIPICS - Candidate of the Honorary Promoter International Photography of The Image Colleague Society International title is highest honor of the Society for those who have positive great dedicated and promoted and contributed all phases for development ICS patronage service, are *nominated with two endorsers. 

Upon proposition of the directory board, the ICS International can exceptionally nominate as lifelong honorary fellow member ICS, Honorary Master ICS, or Honorary Promoter International Photography of ICS” certain persons who have positive with great contributed all phases for development of ICS in international levels.

FMPA DISTINCTION

PHOTOGRAPHIC DISTINCTION AWARD

FMPA awards the following distinction titles to the successful photographic artists who have met obligation and requirements of the distinction titles.

Excellence Federation Multi-Cultural Photographic Art (EFMPA)

Applicant who has 50 images accepted with 50 different titles, within a maximum of two years, in at least 15 different international salons of 15 different countries 

under ICS or PSA or FIAP salon patronage, including 10 AWARDS in 10 countries with 10 images.

Master Federation Multi-Cultural Photographic Art (MFMPA)

Applicant must submit a portfolio of 25 works consist of 5 portrait, 5 documentary, 5 sport, 5 photo daily life in city and in village, 5 nature. 

Applicant may submit a mixed color and black-and-white portfolio. A portfolio-style of presentation is required and must coherent from its conception to its realization and presentation. 

Image digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length must: 2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg

PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES AWARD

Honorary Excellence Federation Multicultural Photographic Art (Hon.E.FMPA)

Hon.EFMPA is the highest service distinction of FMPA. FMPA awards the distinction title to those whose have judged international salon at least:

The salons must be recognized by Photographic Society of America and/or Federation Internationale de L’Art Photographique and *Image Colleague Society.  

Potential candidates must submit the application outlined the photographic services record or judging service must note the name of salon, year, and patronage number. 

Personal photographic achievement is not the weight of such title.

USPA DISTINCTION

Candidate May Apply Sequence USPA Distinction Any Time - No Limited Time

For all affiliated societies of USPA SWAN FMPA applicant must follow the sequence apply for the next level on approval of the previous level 

USPA AWARDS PROGRAMS

For those who, by their artistic work, by their photographic achievements know as photographic artists; have contributed and dedicated to USPA or for exceptional and valued service to international photography in general. 

The United States Photographic Alliance has created high standards of photography principally through the awards of its own recognize and prestige photographic distinctions to those who success it.

PHOTOGRAPHIC DISTINCTION 

L.USPA - Licentiateship USPA        =          25 different acceptances in international photo contest patronage by FIAP or PSA or ICS from at least (5) different countries including 3 AWARDS in 3 countries with 3 different images.

A.USPA - Artist USPA                      =          Portfolio of 12 images with coherence and unity in digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length:

                                                                     2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg via email.  

E.USPA - Excellence  USPA            =          Portfolio of 18 images with coherence and unity in digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length: 

                                                                     2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi jpg via email.

M.USPA - Master USPA                   =          Portfolio of 25 images with coherence and unity in digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length: 

                                                                     2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi jpg via email.

Images should be numbered 1-12 or 1-18 or 1-25 as appropriate distinction, in the sequence they presented to jury.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for L.USPA must submit a list of acceptances indicated salons and ICS or FIAP or PSA patronage number. One distinction can be applied any timer following the above sequence.

DISTINCTION AWARDS

Certificates designating appropriate USPA photographic distinction levels shall be awarded to successful candidates and international salon exhibitors. Recipients of the Master USPA distinction may secure “Crystal Plaque” if candidate place in order at additional cost. 

Distinction recipients may append after their names the initials of the applicable honor.

SERVICE DISTINCTION

@ ES.USPA – Excellence Service USPA

The ESUSPA, Excellence Service United States Photographic Alliance title is the federation honor level, choice for the exceptional excellence services rendered to USPA, certain person who have positive with great contributed to develop USPA are nominated with two endorsers.

@ Hon.E.USPA – Honorary Excellence USPA 

The Hon.EUSPA, Honorary Excellence of United States Photographic Alliance title is highest honor of federation. For those who have great contribution and dedication to USPA, are nominated with two endorsers.

Upon proposition of the directory board, the USPA can exceptionally nominate as lifelong “honorary excellence member USPA” certain persons who have positive with great contributed all phases for development of USPA in international levels.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Only photographic organization and individual member affiliated USPA can propose their members, or by himself as candidates for distinctions. 

A copy of the service honor certificates by candidates holding service honors in FIAP, PSA, ICS; or national; or regional photographic organizations in other countries awarding service distinctions is mandatory with the application. 

Un-honored members must submit a complete record of service provided to the photographic art covering: offices and post held, judging, lecturing, writing, and editing, plus elements of community services, and especially of a photographic nature has performed the development of ICS activities in applicant’s country is mandatory.

Endorsement signature only required.

In order to qualify the high honor ESUSPA title, applicant must obtained photographic service rendered for at least FIVE YEARS minimum and current active in the photo arts. For the highest honor Hon.EUSPA title of federation, applicant must obtained at least TEN YEARS exceptional service plus photographic achievements and currently active in the international photo arts community. 

Distinction recipients may append after their names the initials of the applicable honor. All application should be made on forms conforming to the models indicated by USPA. No discrimination is made between the candidates, amateurs or professional photographers. No ages limit is imposed. The final decision whether or not a USPA distinction is awarded belongs to USPA.

Simple majority take without appeal, and decisions.

Swan Photo Club, International

SWAN DISTINCTION

Candidate May Apply Sequence SWAN Distinction Any Time - No Limited Time

For all affiliated societies of USPA SWAN FMPA applicant must follow the sequence apply for the next level on approval of the previous level 

DISTINCTION AWARDS PROGRAM

SWAN distinctions are awarded upon verification and approval by the SWAN Honors Committee on successful applications containing specific outlined material applicable to *photographic achievement and/or photographic records of the applicants.

PHOTOGRAPHIC DISTINCTION APPLICATION 

ASSOCIATESHIP (ASWAN)

Candidates must obtained at least (25) *twenty five acceptances with (25) *twenty five different titles in international photo contests patronaged by FIAP or PSA or ICS from at least (5) *five different countries within *one-year period; and have met their obligation and these honor requirements, may apply for the ASSOCIATE.

FELLOWSHIP (FSWAN)

The holder of ASWAN *only eligible to apply for FSWAN. Candidates must obtained at least (50) *fifty acceptances with (50) *fifty different titles in international photo contests recognized by PSA, FIAP and ICS, at least (10) *teen different countries within *two-year period, and have met their obligation and these honor requirements, may apply for the FELLOW.

MASTER (MSWAN)

Candidate must submit a *portfolio of 25 images numbered from 1 to 25 - black and white prints or colour prints or 

digital file size either vertical or horizontal format the longest side length must: 2000 x 1333 - 300 dpi  jpg. 

A portfolio-style of presentation is required. This collection must be coherent from its conception to its realization and presentation.

HONORARY FELLOWSHIP OF SWAN (HON.F.SWAN)

Hon.FSWAN is the highest covet service distinction. Honorary Fellow SWAN is award to those whose have fulfilled the following criteria:

Recipients of the A.SWAN and F.SWAN and M.SWAN Hon.F.SWAN honors may use these honors after their names for the indication of the honors. 

APPLICATION

All information submitted by applicant will be verified by SWAN Honors Committee. All dossiers application must note:

·         the NAME of SALON.

·         YEAR, and FIAP and/or PSA and ICS patronage number for SWAN administrative verification.

Candidate May Apply Sequence ARGUS Distinction Any Time - No Limited Time

PHOTOGRAPHIC DISTINCTION AWARD

FMPA awards the following distinction titles to the successful photographic artists who have met obligation and requirements of the distinction titles.

Fellow Argus (FARGUS)

Applicant who has 50 images accepted with 50 different titles, within a maximum of two years, in at least 15 different international salons of 15 different countries under ICS or PSA or FIAP salon patronage, including 10 AWARDS in 10 countries with 10 images.
