Ms. Stacey Luce

6th & 7th grade science

Welcome back everyone!! I'm so excited to meet and get to know each of you, as well as your families.

I am an avid traveler and love to see and experience new places. The above picture comes from my teaching sabbatical in 2010. I spent that year on the eastern Caribbean island nation of Dominica where I taught multiple high-school subjects, mentored a youth development camp, and explored some of the most beautiful nature on the planet. (The endangered species in the picture with me is the majestic Leatherback Turtle.)

My husband and I own a 25 acre farm and have 3 sheep to care for and I have 2 of the cutest puppies that I adopted from a rescue in St. Lucia.

The 6th graders will be learning earth science and beginning general biology this year and 7th graders are into life science/biology. I'm looking forward to sharing another great year, in science, with my new batch of Hornets!!
