You will be creating a portrait of a character from the book "Pete the Cat and the Magic Sunglasses." Please watch this video first:
Next click on this link for directions on how to draw each character. Choose one character and draw them, use any material that you have at home.

Mr Tiger Goes Wild!

The frog prince
TIMELINE: 4 Twenty Minute Sessions

Once your Frog is completed please post in this Google Form:
MATERIALS: pencils, papers, crayons, markers, paint. SUBSTITUTE ANY MATERIAL AS NEEDED.

Once you have completed your project please ask an adult to take a picture and send it to Mrs. Kervatt by email. Please hold onto your project and bring it in to school when we return to school.

decorated Indian Elephants
Since ancient times, harnessed elephants have been employed by emperors and religious institutes for various purposes. They have always been an essential part of the lifestyle of Indian royalty, especially in Rajasthan. Therefore, they were groomed with great pomp and ceremony. . Hathi Gaon is a village for elephants, located 12 Km away from the main city of Jaipur, where nearly 150 elephants live with their families and where the craft of grooming elephants continues today.
Hi Second Grade!! You will be making these totally cool Indian Elephants!
DIRECTIONS
- This project is meant to be completed over the next weeks, please spend 20 minutes on the project this week and 20 minutes next week.

- Make the guide lines on the paper with a pencil. Follow the tutorial to make the drawing with a pencil.
- Draw colorful decorations with crayons, markers, color pencils, use what you have at home.
- If you have paint go ahead and paint the elephant, if you do not have paint no worries!
- Don't forget to color/paint the background.
