All English I Classes:
All assignments can be found on Google Classroom.
1st Period's link to Google Classroom: TBA
Google Classroom should be checked DAILY.
It is the student's responsibility to make sure that their Chromebook is charged and brought to class DAILY. Some assignments are completed within the class period. Failure to have a working, charged Chromebook can result in loss of credit on the assignment. Miss Pauloski DOES NOT have any extra Chromebooks or extra chargers in her classroom.
Supplies needed for class are listed on the syllabus. If there are any issues with purchasing supplies, please let Miss Pauloski know and accommodations will be made.
All novels can be checked out of a library, purchased, or downloaded on to an electronic device like a Kindle. However, novels downloaded on to a cell phone are prohibited. Having a novel on a cell phone is too distracting.
Each student has a literature book to use during the school year. It will be handed out in class during the first week of school. The students are responsible for the condition of the book for the remainder of the school year.
Reminder: When a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to make up any missed assignments, including tests. Once that time frame expires, the grade(s) becomes a zero.
Reminder: If an absence is unexcused, the student can make up the work, but the credit for the assignment(s) will be lost.
Reminder: When checking grades online, keep in mind that the percentage will be lower for students who have been absent and have not submitted his/her makeup work yet.
