What is the role of the School Psychologist?

The School Psychologist evaluates the needs of identified students within the school system through the provision of assessments. These assessments may include, but are not limited to: cognitive, personality, risk-assessment, memory, attention, executive function, behavior, and emotional status. The School Psychologist works with the Special Education TEAM to provide eligibility determination for disabilities associated with Special Education services.

The Robert Adams Middle School's School Psychologist is Ms. Marissa Daftary (Grade 6 & 7), Ms. Jenna Gamage(Grade 8).
