8th Grade Transition News

Today and Friday 8th grade students will visit the Medina County Career Center to get an overview of what the MCCC has to offer. Students will also spend 30 minutes with their high school counselor to learn about scheduling for their 9th grade year. Each student receives a Highland High School Program of Studies booklet.

There will be a parent meeting on February 8 at 6:30 in the High School Auditorium for parents to learn about scheduling and high school procedures. Parents attending the meeting will receive their child's scheduling sheet (pink). The "pink sheets" need to be filled out with their child's schedule and signed by the parent by February 14. (If a parent does not attend the meeting the student will receive the pink sheet at school.)

On February 14 and 15, 8th graders will visit Highland High School, schedule for their freshman classes, and turn in their sheets. Parents are encouraged to make a copy for themselves.
