Tournament Basketball Games

All HMS tournament basketball games for today have been canceled including the tournament game that we are hosting. Most likely any game that was scheduled for today will be played tomorrow. Look for communication from your coach for the specifics.

Parent Teacher Conferences

February 15 from 4 - 7:30. Please call the middle school if you would like to set up a conference.

8th grade Parent High School Orientation Meeting

February 8 at 6:30 in the High School Auditorium. 8th grade parents should plan on attending this meeting to receive information on scheduling for high school. Parents in attendance will receive their child's scheduling sheet("Pink Sheet") with course recommendations from HMS. Students and parents have until Feb 13 to complete the scheduling sheet and return it signed to the HMS guidance office. On Feb 14 and 15 students will visit Highland High School with their Pink Sheet and schedule their freshman classes. If a parent is not in attendance on Thursday night, the student will receive his pink sheet at school on Friday.

D.A.R.E Skate Night

February 7 6:30-8:30 at Brunswick Skate Station. It is still on tonight! It's a great way to get the kids out of the house, have fun, and be active. You may pay at the door.

HMS Yearbooks - time is running out!

HMS yearbooks are now on sale until February 16.

B.I.O.N.I.C. (Believe It Or Not I Care) Night - 7th grade

The 30th Annual BIONIC Night will occur on Friday March 2 from 2:30-7:45. 7th Grade students will spend the time with fun filled skits, speakers, panels, and small group sessions to be able to better understand pertinent issues he/she faces today. The topics include: cyber safety, alcohol/drug prevention, positive life choices, safety. Included in the night is a dance, cartoonist, t-shirt, pizza, and carnival games.

There is also an Educational Parent Seminar from 6:30-7:45 in the media center.

Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who helped with the book fair. A special thank you to Ann Marie Truitt and Kim Colasanti for organizing and running another successful fair.

Scene 75 Night

The HMS PTO is holding a mini-FUNraiser at Scene 75 in Brunswick on Wednesday 2/21/18 from 5-8 pm.
