There are 6 Learning Skills that we focus on and that are assessed throughout the year. Teachers work with students and their parents/guardians to help develop the following 6 habits.

-follow school and classroom agreements
-bring agenda to school every day and return homework/notes on time
-treat others the way you want to be treated
-follow class routines and instructions to complete tasks on time and with care

-ignore distractions and focus on the task at hand
-use of classroom tools (e.g., anchor charts, word wall)
-work completed on time and with care

-follow classroom routines and have materials ready to go
-use time wisely
-desk and belongings are kept clean and tidy

-listen attentively so that all directions are followed
-think about work and try it before asking for help
-use feedback to improve work
Collaboration

-share ideas, information and materials in a nice way
-speak politely to others
-share reponsibility in group work
-help solve any problems a group might have

Each learning skill is evaluated on the scale of:
E- Excellent
G- Good
S- Satisfactory
N- Needs Improvement
