Each year our students spend an entire day adventuring into the Cleveland Zoo. Feeding the animals, exploring the exhibits and getting hands-on opportunity to further their education.

This year our students had the opportunity to explore the new rennovations at Cleveland's History Museum. They still have not stopped talking about this field trip. With interactive exhibits, easy-to-read excerpts, and the freedom to explore in a safe environment. We can't wait to see what next year brings for them!

At HCLS, we celebrate the Christmas season with Christ. Students spending weeks diving into the reason we celebrate the season! This year, putting on our annual performance of Christmas carols and a play to share the Gospel with our community!

Serve Day 2024
Our Middle School students focus this year is serving our community. Partnering with the Cleveland Food Bank to do just that. Students packed more than 50 boxes of food with fresh vegetables, fruits, and bread to give to families right here in our local community!

Our lower elementary has been having a blast exploring different careers this fall. On National Fire Safety Prevention Week, students were able to learn directly from our local Cleveland Fire Department. Exploring the fire truck, tools, and learning all about fire safety from the men and women who keep us safe!

Grade 2-3 are exploring different careers this fall, getting to hear from a Cleveland Clinic nurse. Nurse Lora taught our kids about how to keep a safe heart, staying healthy and brought in some yummy snacks for us to enjoy!

We have been busy jumping back into the start of an amazing school year! We have had so much fun welcoming back our students, and welcoming new friends into our building. Students have started their new Spanish class, picked back up their instruments, and getting opportunities for enrichment each week!
