Math Concepts
Math Expressions includes the following themes: place value, geometry, patterns, multiplication and division, multidigit addition and subtraction, money, time, measurement, problem solving and number stories, and mental calculations.
Math Lessons
I teach math in a variety of ways: whole class, small group and individual work. New concepts are taught in a whole class format and then broken down to meet the needs of all learners. Math lessons center around our textbook, workbook, math station and hands on activities.
Math Lab and Stations
Math stations are designed to enhance student understanding of the themes listed above. Math stations allow students to participate in enrichment and extra practice activities most of which utilize manipulatives.
