Update as of 3/1/19:
Realizing I needed Ubuntu to follow along with Ross’s and Dylan’s notes at this point, my efforts to
install GNU radio on windows was not efficient.
I attempted to install Ubuntu on my Surface Laptop to work with the HackRF Card, however, upon
installation found my keyboard not to work. I spent a few hours trying to implement fixes posted on
forums to install keyboard drivers with no success. Moving forward I need to install it on my desktop or
get a new laptop.
I then tried installing Ubuntu on my desktop PC alongside windows on a portable hard drive I had,
however, this proved to not work as operation was slow and for some reason it would periodically log
me out.
Next Steps:
Install Ubuntu on an internal drive and be sure to use configurations used by others online to ensure
success.
