Social justice in education - we throw those words around a lot, at least I do. Some of us work our whole careers to ensure social justice in education for our particular kids (our students at our school, our students in our community, our students in our ethnic group, our own children and grandchildren). But social justice in education is not a curriculum. It's not a stand alone. So what does it look like in our planning, and how will we know we achieved this from the point of view of our parents? Read the article and watch the video (in that order). Discuss your thoughts, connections, next steps.
