Did you know that Mexico and Russia and others are considered "Asia-Pacific Economies"

(Note the term "Economy" is used because some are not "nations" or "states")

Several of our honor society members did research and wrote brief reports on them.

Some members even helped guide APEC delegates and visitors at the Honolulu Airport and in Waikiki.

A few even got to attend the events there!

One lucky Honolulu high school senior did win!

(We had to sell a lot of Zippy's chili tickets to raise the money for that iPad!)
