Red Clover Program - Grades K-4 Students vote on their favorite book from a list of 10 nominated titles. I'll read all 10 books to the 2nd grade students and the 1st grade classroom teachers will read all 10 to their classes. The kindergarten choose several books to read to their students and conduct a variety of activities revolving around the themes of those books.
DCF - Grades 4-6 Students vote on their favorite book from a list of 30 nominated titles.
Battle of the Books - A fun and optional program for students in 5th and 6th grade.The list for 2011-2012 is posted on the link.
Read Around the World - The goal of this program is to promote reading from different countries and cultures. This is a two year program for students in 5th and 6th grade. Those students who read at least 60 books representing a variety of countries, will receive an engraved medal.
Celebration Books - For all students and families. This program provides an opportunity for you to honor birthdays, grandparents, lost teeth and more, while adding wonderful books to the school's library. Forms are available at the school's office, or from Mrs. Blongewicz, the librarian.
