This collection of documents is intended to be a reference for you and your parents, or tutors, or anyone helping you learn/practice the skills required in Methods and throughout your science courses at HHS. The skills will be introduced/taught/practiced at different points throughout the first semester of the Methods course. You will also find reference sheets containing useful information like universal constants, conversion factors and the Periodic Table that can be used during assessments in Methods.
Once a skill is introduced the expectation is that you use or apply this skill whenever appropriate throughout the remainder of the year. The practice problems included in this manual provide an opportunity for you to test your skills over again when studying for quizzes and exams. To allow you to do this it is best to write answers to them on separate sheets of paper.
All of these skills are transferable to your other science classes here at Hanover High School and any post-secondary science experiences.
The skills sheets are organized under the headings in the menu on the left.
