Lab Safety

It is important that each student in the science laboratory understands and follows safe practices to protect themselves and others from injury. To be sure that all students take the time to learn the rules, you will be asked to sign a contract. You will be responsible for adhering to the rules outlined in the contract in all of your science courses. Your understanding of the rules will be assessed before you begin laboratory work in class and you may be quizzed on these rules at other times during the year.

Please download the Flinn Lab Safety Contract using the linked pdf at the bottom of the page, read the rules, answer the personal questions and sign the contract. Then please share the contract with your parent or guardian and ask them to sign it as well.
